Lisa Brooks, O.D. – Optometrist in Ankeny, IA
Dr. Lisa Brooks earned her undergraduate degree from the Iowa State, in Ames and completed her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. She became invested in optometry while working as an optician as a teenager, and still remembers the instant interest she felt for all the tools that helped people to see better.
Dr. Brooks is passionate about helping her patients achieve clear vision, and her dedication to quality eye care and excellent bedside manner have made her a great addition to the Eyemart team. Dr. Brooks sees patients of all ages, but especially loves watching a child’s face light up when they realize they can see clearly, and watching her pediatric patients grow up over the years.
Dr. Brooks grew up on the south side of Des Moines and treasures her home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and cats, and rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals and Iowa State Cyclones.
